I met up with Kelly, today! We decided that we each needed new head shots done. So, we grabbed our cameras and headed out! We got some great shots of each other! (if you head over to her blog, you’ll be able to see the ones she captured of me)

I had the opportunity to meet up with some friends and photograph their beautiful new baby boy this past weekend! Since my youngest is 5, I forgot how cute and squishy newborns are!! He is such a good baby, though he was not super fond of my camera being all up in his face! Anyway, enjoy the pictures, and feel free to leave comments!

Once again, I’ve been slacking. Not only on posting here, but also of posting pictures of my own kids. You’d think it’d be easy for me to get pictures of my kids as I see them all day long, but it’s really not! Anyway, here are some we shot today, while testing out the lighting in “our not-yet-a-studio” studio. We are working on transforming an empty storage unit at my family’s storage facility into a studio, so we wanted to see how the light was. In my opinion, it was sweet! I only used my Speedlight to bounce some light off of the white ceiling in the unit, otherwise, these are all natural light from outside the unit.
Yesterday, I met up with Jason and Tracy for some fun Valentine’s Day portraits! Tracy had mentioned to me that she couldn’t remember when the last time she and Jason had had pictures done together, so this session was all about them!! Though, I admit, their daughters are SO cute, that I could not resist snapping of few of them, too! SO, sit back and enjoy their sneak peek! (I did get a lot more than these, but I have to have some surprise still, right?)
These are a couple more of just Little Man from our family session the other day! He was non-stop, and creating a bunch of laughter in the midst of it all!

This $50 family mini-session is for up to 6 people and includes a 30-45 minute session, and a minimum of 15 retouched portraits on a disc with printing rights!

I met up with this great family today! We had fun walking around the park! But mostly laughing, because Little Man was being so silly! 4 is such a great age!! Anyway, here’s their sneak peek…
I had a totally fun session with Kelly last night! We did these pictures as a surprise for her husband for their 6th anniversary in about 10 days! We started out in this amazing field where I almost stepped on King snake trying to move around to get a better shot (didn’t know what kind of snake it was at the time), and I jumped and I’m pretty sure I let out a little scream-Kelly laughed! I think I pulled a muscle! Then we went over to the old footbridge in Oroville and got a few hoots and hollars from the drivers going by. Then it was off to the highway overpass, where little did we know that someone thought this poor bride was going to throw herself over the edge into the oncoming traffic. He actually went way out of his way to drive over to us and make sure she was okay. We felt so bad, so we quickly finished up, and ended our session. To the concerned citizen-we’re sorry for nearly giving you a heart attack, and are deeply honored that you would stop out of the kindness of your heart and make sure Kelly was okay! Again, we are sorry for scaring you!
